Jiangsu Yiming Biological Technology Co., Ltd. has made great progress in 2019 in terms of environmental protection. Through carrying out a cleaner production audit and upgrading environmental protection facilities, the wastewater treatment has been improved to meet the industry standard. Meanwhile, it also achieved remarkable economic benefits, delivering win-win results.

2. Environmental Management System Certification and Cleaner Production
The company is applying for environmental management system certification.
The company set up a cleaner production team in 2015 to coordinate low-carbon environmental protection projects. By the end of 2018, it had implemented 19 related projects, saving a total of 50,000 tons of water, 1.6 million kWh of electricity and 600 tons of coal and reducing the discharge of wastewater by 10,000 tons, sulfur dioxide by 2 tons, soot by 3.2 tons and COD by 1.5 tons. As a result, water can be recycled, the green area has been increased, and the impact of noise has been reduced.
3. Occurrence of Major Environmental Problems
Since its establishment, the company has attached great importance to environmental protection and formulated regulations of the environmental management system and standardized operation according to relevant laws and regulations. It also strengthened the inspection and maintenance of wastewater and gas treatment facilities and raised employees' awareness of environmental protection. So far, no major pollution accidents and environmental disputes have occurred.
The report is expected to enhance the understanding of the company from all walks of life. The company accepts social supervision to promote environmental protection work.
